PELLITH-2 EP is a high quality multi purpose grease with selected extreme pressure additives, free from heavy metals. This new generation additive package ensures longer lifetime for the lubricated parts and low maintenance costs. The highly refined base oil blend contains less than 3% pca’s.
PELLITH-2 EP greases can be easily pumped due to their smooth structure. These greases are extremely suitable for lubrication under adverse conditions: high pressures, high working temperatures, irregular shock loads, wet and dirty conditions. They perform excellent adhesion and spreading properties over a wide range of working temperatures, a high resistance to water wash off and provide protection against salt water corrosion.
PELLITH-2 EP is suitable for all types of roll, ball, needle and journal bearings generally used in marine equipment.
PELLITH-2 MO NLGI-2
PELLITH-2 MO is a lithium saponified lubricating grease containing oxidation and corrosion inhibitors. Additional extreme pressure properties are achieved by the use of molybdenum disulphide in 2% content, while heavy metals are eliminated from the additive package. The highly refined base oil blend contains less than 3% pca’s. This grease is non- corrosive and has high resistance to oxidation and the washing action of water. PELLITH-2 MO has a very low internal friction coefficient, due to the extremely low particle size, a fact that eliminates the abrasion.
Manufactures of commercial vehicles and industrial machines prefer the molybdenum greases over a grease with EP-characteristics only. It is often used for lubrication of inaccessible parts and is designed for extended intervals between relubrication.
PELLITH-2 MO combines good water repellency with excellent mechanical stability and outperforms traditional lithium greases with respect to the temperature range.
